Release Yoga – Messages of Peace, Connection and Self-Care

On Release Yoga’s Facebook page, they recently asked their community how they are finding “peace” every day. This led to an outpouring of support from their clients, teachers and others showcasing the beauty of the world.

One story from Debbie G say, “I’m in the healthcare field, so I’m one of those “Essentials” that’s working everyday – even more than normal!! But I’m still finding “my peace” by helping residents and families stay connected yet safe, giving back to the wonderful elderly population that has sacrificed and given so much to all of us and taking time out to listen to their stories and relish in their history – it’s such a beautiful thing to hear their perspective. I love this generation of people!”

To build a connected digital community, Release is creating quick online practice videos for everyone to use, anywhere they are. We like a shorter format because it gives our followers a chance to quickly get in touch with their body at the start of the day, then do whatever they need to do without taking up too much time. We’re also engaging with the community to figure out how they’re finding their balance during this uncertain time and the connectedness from these posts really shows.

In addition to yoga videos, we’re also posting simple self-care videos and meditations for our followers to help their mind, as well as their body. Mental health is very important to us and we are always trying to acknowledge its importance in yoga and in turbulent times.

Lastly, we’re definitely trying to branch out more into the self-care aspect of things and want to create an open space for our community to share, learn and grow. It’s a process, for sure, but it definitely works if we all come together and engage.

Keep helping the community find peace, connection and self-care, Release Yoga!

Universal Architect: #WeLoveyou Campaign

The #WeLoveYou Campaign is here to breathe life back into entrepreneurs across the globe. By creating a platform that supports multiple ideas and businesses at one time, we are defining radical collaboration. Created in partnership with Universal Architect + GLO We are unsure how long we all will suffer this pandemic but one thing we know for certain; we are in this together. One heart. One world.

An Opportunity for Change.

We are faced with the opportunity to collectively change the course of our future. This virus is a powerful reminder of our common humanity. It does not discriminate by race, religion or nationality. It infects the rich just as readily as it does the poor. In its path we are all equal, which means we all must face this crisis together. At a time of heightened polarization around the world, this pandemic is reminding us of our shared humanity. Its relentless spread should reinforce our faith and love of all human beings.

Let us each embrace this crisis as an opportunity to embark on a journey of spiritual growth of recommitting ourselves to treating everyone with equality and dignity; of celebrating the greatness, creativity and tenacity of the human spirit. Let us emerge from this turbulent and unsettling chapter of human history, as greater people with more compassion, faith, appreciation, strength and LOVE than ever before.
